Students can obtain a free copy of Vectorworks Designer for their use while studying. This can be done via the student portal on the Megabits website.
To learn Vectorworks well, we highly recommend purchasing the Vectorworks tutorials available through our e-Store.
We also offer a discounted rate to students within one year of the completion of their studies should they wish to purchase the software for their own business use, through our Student2Pro programme.
Things you should know:
- Software obtained as a student can not be used for commercial purposes.
- Approval to use the software for your studies requires current student photo ID’s or confirmation from your tutors in an appropriate course of study.
- Software purchased through the Student2Pro programme cannot be sold on to anyone else.

A free copy of the Designer Suite while teaching Vectorworks.
A comprehensive series of course material can be purchased and provide ready to use exercises for you to use as part of your teaching programme. This represents a huge time saver for all teachers.
A special online user group for an annual cost of NZ$420 ( including GST) which will have a general 1 hour meeting covering a specific topic or topics each month followed by a question and answer session. There will also be a tutor specific one hour online session each month when any questions can be put to the trainer and will be covered. This user group will also have access to an online data base of several thousand movies covering almost every aspect of Vectorworks. This material and courses are provided by Napier based Jonathan Pickup – a world authority on Vectorworks – who is the author of the tutorial manuals, available in our e-Store and sold worldwide by Nemetscshek Vectorworks Inc.
