Technical Support Request

For Megabits customers, technical support is provided free for the current version and for 12 months from the date of purchase for the previous version.

We want all our users to have the best possible experience with the software and services we support.

Before contacting us, please note the following:

  • Ensure you have the latest Vectorworks Service Pack installed. To check, select the ‘About Vectorworks’ menu in the Vectorworks software.
  • Check if your query/issue has already been addressed on the Vectorworks Forum or the Vectorworks Knowledgebase.
  • Visit the Vectorworks Customer Portal for licence serial numbers and download links.
  • If the matter concerns abnormal behaviours or performance problems, ensure the software is up-to-date, then quit all programs and restart your computer.

Technical Support Service Conditions:

What’s covered:

  • Addressing performance problems or abnormal behaviours with the software and internet services we support.
  • Advice (not labour) to overcome corrupt files of software we support.
  • Guidance installing Vectorworks and Interiorcad / Interior xs.
  • Installations of our Megabits Plugin.

What’s not covered:

  • Matters that can be resolved or prevented through product knowledge/education.
  • Software setup and custom configurations (i.e. settings).
  • Creation or supply of [digital] resources (i.e. libraries).
  • Connections to machinery or third-party software.

Time spent on matters not covered by technical support will be charged at $145+GST/hour, (15 minute min).

  • The last six characters of the serial number, found in the ‘About Vectorworks’ window.
